    We look at patterns and trends together (for example how meals, routines, stress, or sleep affect your levels), but I do not tell you how to change insulin doses.

  • No. I don’t adjust insulin, recommend doses, or override medical advice.

    If something medical comes up, I’ll encourage you to discuss it with your diabetes team.

  • No referral is required.

    Some people hear about this service through their GP or DNS, others self-refer.

    You remain fully under the care of your healthcare team either way.

    No. Pregnancy with Type 1 diabetes requires specialist medical care.

    If you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, you should work closely with your diabetes care team.

  • No. This is an independent, patient-funded service.

    It is designed to complement HSE care by providing additional non-medical support between appointments.

  • That’s completely okay.

    This service is optional and client-led.

    There’s no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel like the right fit.
